Getting Started

What Innvera is, who it is for, and where to begin on your first day with the property management system.

Innvera is a property management system (PMS) for hotels, guesthouses and other small to mid-sized accommodation businesses. It is the single place where your team sees who is arriving, who is in-house, which rooms are ready, what each guest owes, and what is on sale on every channel. Everything runs in the browser, so a front desk agent, a housekeeper on a phone, an accountant and the owner working from home all look at the same live data.

Innvera is organised into modules that follow the way a property actually works:

  • Front Desk — the Dashboard, today's Arrivals & Departures, the drag-and-drop Calendar, the Bookings list, Groups and Companies & agents, the Inventory grid, and Guests profiles.
  • Operations — Rooms and room types, the Housekeeping board and your own task sheet, Maintenance work orders and Stores.
  • Finance — Accounting: folios, payments, invoices, receivables, the cashier, the journal, the night audit and reports.
  • Admin — Settings for the property and its stay rules, users and permissions, accounting, the Booking Engine (your own direct-booking storefront), the Channel Manager (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia and others through Channex) and the activity log.

Who it is for

Innvera is written for the people who run a property day to day, not for developers. A front desk agent lives in the Calendar, Bookings and check-in flows. A housekeeping supervisor runs the board; an attendant gets a three-item sidebar and works from their own task sheet. An accountant works in Accounting and the folios. The owner or administrator configures the property, invites staff and connects channels. Each of these is a seeded role, and every entry in the sidebar is gated on a permission, so what you see depends on the roles you hold; see Roles and Permissions.

Where to begin

If you were invited by your property, start with Your First Login: accept the invite, set a password, and pick the property you work at. If you are setting up a new property, the same page covers registration and email verification.

Then spend five minutes on Key Concepts. Innvera uses a handful of words precisely — room type versus room, reservation versus accommodation, folio, rate plan — and knowing them makes every other page shorter.
