Getting Started

Your First Login

Sign in, accept a staff invite, register a new property, verify your email, choose a property, and learn the navbar.

There are two ways into Innvera. Most staff arrive through an invite email sent by the property owner; you set a password and land straight in that property. Owners setting up a new property go through registration, a five-step form that creates both the property and the owner account. Either way, once you are in, the navbar at the top of every page is where search, notifications, the property switcher and your profile live.

Open the PMS and you will see the Hey, welcome back screen.

Enter your credentials

Type your Email address and Password. The eye icon in the password field shows or hides what you typed.

Click Sign in

If the email or password is wrong, the error from the server is shown as a toast. Nothing else changes, so correct it and try again.

Land in the right place

Where you go next depends on your account. Staff and owners with one property open the Calendar — unless your role cannot open it, in which case Innvera moves you to the first page you can, which for a room attendant is My tasks. Owners with several properties get the Select Your Hotel dialog first (see below). Platform administrators open Properties.

Accept an invite

When the owner invites you from Settings → Users & Permission, you receive an email with a link to /accept-invite?token=…. The link is valid for 7 days.

The Set your password screen appears. If you see Missing invite link, you opened the page without its token; go back to the email. If you see This invite link isn't valid, the link has expired or has already been used — ask whoever invited you to send a new one.

Choose a password

The checklist under the field updates as you type: At least 8 characters, One uppercase letter, One number, One symbol. Only the 8-character minimum is enforced on submit, but follow all four.

Click Activate account

Your membership in the property already exists, so you are signed in and taken to the Calendar immediately. Your email is verified as part of accepting the invite.

Register a new property

Click Or sign up on the sign-in screen (or open /register). The form has five steps with a progress bar; Continue validates the current step before moving on, and Back keeps what you typed.

StepTitleWhat you enter
1Tell Us About Your PropertyHotel name, timezone, currency, check-in time, check-out time (HH:mm), property category (Hotel, Guest House, Hostel, Villa and others), optional logo
2Create Your AccountEmail, password (8+ characters), first and last name, optional phone, date of birth and country
3Where Are You Located?Address line 1 and 2, city, region, country, postal code; search or drop a pin on the map
4Verify Your IdentityUpload one document and pick its type: Passport, National ID, Driver's License, Business License or Other
5Review & ConfirmCheck everything, use Edit on any block, then click Register

After Register you are signed in and taken to the Calendar. Your property starts with the Pending verification badge next to its name: it works fully for your team, but it is not visible to guests on the booking engine until a platform administrator verifies the identity document. Suspended means the platform has paused it; contact support.

Verify your email

Registered owners and staff created directly by an owner start with an unverified email. Until it is verified, a banner sits under the navbar: Check your inbox for the verification link to finish setting up your account. Click Resend email if the message never arrived (the server limits how often you can ask; wait a few minutes if you see "Too many requests").

The link opens /verify-email and verifies automatically. Links are valid for 24 hours; an expired one shows This link has expired with a Resend verification email button (or Sign in to resend if you opened it in a browser where you are not logged in). A link that was already replaced shows We couldn't verify this link.

Forgot your password

Click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen, enter your email and click Send reset link. You will always see Check your email — the page does not reveal whether an account exists. Reset links expire after 15 minutes.

The link opens Reset password, where you enter a New password and confirm it, then click Reset password. Three things can go wrong, and each says so plainly: Missing reset link (you opened the page without its token — go back to the email), This reset link is invalid or expired (use the newest email, or Request a new link) and Unable to reset your password.

If you are already signed in, change your password from Profile → Account → Change Password instead: enter Current Password, the new password twice, then Update Password.

Choose or switch property

Your session is tied to one property at a time. If your account belongs to several, the Select Your Hotel dialog ("Choose the hotel you want to manage") appears at sign-in; click a property to open it. To switch later, click the property name (with its logo and status badge) at the left of the navbar, or the same name at the top of the sidebar menu. Picking a property reloads your permissions and sends you to the Calendar.

The navbar

From left to right on a desktop screen:

ControlWhat it does
Menu (☰)Opens the sidebar as a drawer with all navigation groups, the property switcher and Log out.
Property nameOpens Select Your Hotel to switch property. Shows the Pending verification / Active / Suspended badge.
Search fieldGlobal search across guests, reservations, room types and rate plans. See Navigating the PMS.
Calendar and Bookings iconsQuick links to the two front-desk screens. Hidden if your role cannot read reservations.
Chat iconOpens guest messaging. Hidden without messaging: read.
+ (New reservation)Opens the New Reservation sheet, jumping to the Calendar first if you are elsewhere. Hidden without reservation: write.
Toggle themeSwitches between light and dark mode.
Notifications (bell)Opens the notifications drawer; a red badge shows the unread count (up to 99+).
Your initialsOpens the profile menu: View Profile, Log out, and on phones the Dark mode / Light mode switch.

Notifications drawer

The drawer lists new reservations, housekeeping alerts, billing alerts, channel sync problems and guest messages, newest first. Click one to mark it read and jump to the related screen. Mark all read and Clear all sit in the header. The panel at the bottom controls browser push notifications for this device (Turn on / Turn off); if the browser or environment cannot deliver push, the panel says so.

Your profile

View Profile opens three tabs. Account holds your personal details and avatar, your identity documents (owners only, with Pending / Verified / Rejected status), Change Password, and sign-out. Notifications has the push-notification switch and a list of notification preferences. Property & Activity shows the property you are signed into and your recent activity.

Notification preferences — coming soon

The switches under Profile → Notifications → Notification Preferences (New Reservation, Check-in Reminders, Housekeeping Alerts and so on) are not saved yet and do not filter what arrives. Push notifications for the device do work.

Common mistakes

  • Opening the invite on a different device than the one you will use is fine — the link signs you in wherever you open it, and you can sign in again anywhere with the password you set.
  • Waiting for the property to be "Active" before working. You do not need to; verification only affects guest-facing visibility.
  • Looking for your rooms in the wrong place. Housekeeping attendants work from My tasks, not the supervisor board; see Navigating the PMS.
