Channel Manager
Push availability, rates and restrictions to OTAs, pull their bookings into the PMS, and answer OTA guest messages — all powered by Channex.
The channel manager keeps your OTA listings in step with the PMS. Every time inventory, a price or a restriction changes in Innvera, the change is queued and pushed to your connected channels; every booking, modification or cancellation an OTA sends comes back as a reservation on your calendar. You never re-key anything on an extranet.
Innvera's channel manager is built on Channex, a certified connectivity provider. Your property, room types and rate plans are mirrored as a Channex property, and each OTA connection is a Channex channel holding the room-and-rate mappings for that OTA. You manage all of this from Settings → Channel Manager; Channex itself only appears when a channel is connected through its embedded panel.
What it does
- Distributes inventory. Availability, stop-sell, closed-to-arrival / departure, min and max stay, and daily prices are pushed as deltas the moment they change. A one-time Channex Go Live push sets the 500-day baseline for a new property.
- Receives bookings. New, modified and cancelled OTA bookings arrive by webhook, are imported as reservations with
sourceChannel, assigned a room, and posted to a folio. Staff get a notification such as New booking from Booking.com. - Carries guest conversations. Messages guests send through Booking.com, Airbnb or Expedia appear in Chat, and replies go back through the same channel.
- Shows health. The Logs tab lists every push in the outbox with its status (
PENDING,RETRYING,SENT,FAILED) and the last error, so an out-of-sync channel is visible before a guest is.
Supported channels
The + menu on the connections card offers these OTAs. The connection flow differs by channel:
| Channel | Connect flow |
|---|---|
| Booking.com | Innvera form — enter the extranet property ID, map rooms and rates |
| Agoda | Innvera form |
| Trip.com (Ctrip) | Innvera form |
| Airbnb | Embedded Channex panel (OAuth sign-in) |
| Expedia | Embedded Channex panel |
| Hotels.com | Embedded Channex panel |
| TripAdvisor | Embedded Channex panel |
Messaging is available for Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia threads. No-show reporting back to the OTA is supported for Booking.com only.
Who can use it
Channel Manager lives under Settings, so it needs settings access. The property must be Active (not pending verification) before anything is pushed to Channex.
